Style Ensemble

style post0 - donyaThis is my first style post for my blog. Going forward, I will be writing monthly style posts- how exciting! I love the fact that simple, easy to wear pieces can be so effective. I am a strong believer that less is more. If there is one thing about my personal style it’s that I like to be comfortable and to be able to enjoy the clothes I’m wearing, as well as look good.

One statement piece can set off an entire look, this coat is definitely a stunner. As we’re still in winter, it’s still necessary to wear a coat. This single-breasted coat has a detachable collar and is tailored with a rich wool blend. It’s very versatile as it can be worn with or without the collar. This coat looks great paired with tapered, wool trousers and a two-tone, cable knit sweater. I’ve also chosen accessories with texture and colour. A look like this is all you need and the accessories will help set off the outfit. An orange, patent, leather tote bag adds a pop of colour. Add a black wool, white feather-brimmed felt hat and dark green, leather Chelsea boots with silver toe caps. These luxury items make a great casual outfit.
