It’s always a good time to be in London at this time of the year, especially if your devoted to fashion. Five days racing around to make sure you get to every show on time, networking and parties. London Fashion Week is one of fashions biggest social events. What’s also comes with fashion week are fashion statement outfits of fashionistas and some of fashions most influential that come from all over the world to be a part of the shows. Its always a pleasure to be a part of the fashion atmosphere.
Once again I’ll be highlighting some of the shows of the week. Margaret Howell’s SS15 collection, clothes that were catered for a sharply dressed woman. Clean tailoring, neutral tones, loose fitting high waited trousers accompanied with cropped bra tops, pleated flowing skirts and dresses are good for next season. Barbara Casasola was all about the relaxed, simplistic, subtle, loved the metallic looks. Roksanda Ilincic’s collection featured blocks of colour, ruffles and shapes, two tone pops of colour and complimentary colour block detailing, which I loved. Paul Smith womenswear is about the more masculine inspired pieces which he carries throughout the collections. The show still sticks to the masculine tradition, some of the SS15 collection also included loose tailored fits, ticking striped blazers and dresses. Overall I loved the wearable collection.
